1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MyDoktor.ph ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, patients, and registered doctors using MyDoktor.ph.

2. Description of Service

MyDoktor.ph is an online directory of Filipino physicians. The Service allows:

• Patients to search for doctors by specialty, city, and other filters.
• Doctors to claim, verify, and manage their professional listing.
• Administrators to moderate listings and verify credentials.

Medical disclaimer: MyDoktor.ph is a directory service only. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified physician for medical decisions.

3. User Accounts

Doctor accounts on MyDoktor.ph are for licensed Filipino physicians only. By creating an account, you confirm that:

• You are a licensed physician registered with the Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC).
• All information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
• You will keep your account credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must promptly notify us at support@MyDoktor.ph if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

4. Doctor Listings

a) Unclaimed Listings

MyDoktor.ph may create listings for licensed physicians using publicly available professional information (PRC registry data, hospital affiliations, etc.). These listings are marked as "Unclaimed" until the physician verifies ownership.

b) Claiming a Listing

Physicians may claim their listing by submitting their PRC license number for verification. We aim to complete verification within 24 hours. Approved listings receive a "Verified" badge and full profile editing access.

c) Listing Accuracy

Verified doctors are responsible for keeping their listing information accurate and up to date. MyDoktor.ph reserves the right to remove or flag listings that contain false or misleading information.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Impersonate any physician, person, or entity.
• Submit false PRC license information or fraudulent credentials.
• Use the Service to send unsolicited communications or spam.
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from MyDoktor.ph without written permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's account.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Philippine law.
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on MyDoktor.ph — including the logo, design, text, and code — is the property of MyDoktor.ph or its licensors and is protected by Philippine and international intellectual property law.

Doctors who upload profile photos or other content to the Service grant MyDoktor.ph a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content as part of their listing. You retain ownership of content you submit.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• Any doctor listing is complete, accurate, or current at all times.
• Results from the Service will meet your specific requirements.

Use of the Service and reliance on any listing is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, MyDoktor.ph shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to medical decisions made based on information found on MyDoktor.ph.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, submits fraudulent information, or engages in conduct that harms users or the integrity of the Service. You may also delete your account at any time from your dashboard.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Metro Manila, Philippines.

11. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be announced via email to registered users. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
