• Claim requests: PRC license information submitted when claiming a doctor listing.

b) Information collected automatically

• Usage data: Pages visited, search queries entered, and doctor profiles viewed (anonymised).
• Device data: Browser type, operating system, and IP address for security and analytics purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the MyDoktor.ph directory service.
• To verify doctor credentials and process claim requests.
• To display doctor profiles to patients searching the directory.
• To send you account-related emails (verification, claim status updates).
• To improve the accuracy and completeness of our listings.
• To detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity.

We do not sell your personal data. We use third-party advertising networks (see Section 9a) to help fund the free operation of this directory. These partners may use cookies or device identifiers for ad delivery and measurement.

4. Doctor Profile Data

Doctor profiles on MyDoktor.ph are publicly visible. This includes name, specialty, city, hospital affiliations, consultation fees, and clinic contact details. Doctors who claim their profile may update or remove this information at any time via their dashboard.

Unclaimed profiles contain only publicly available professional information. If you are a doctor who wishes to update or remove your listing, please claim your profile or contact us directly.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel only. We implement Row Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure that users can only access their own account data.

While we take all reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

6. Cookies

MyDoktor.ph uses minimal cookies to ensure the site functions correctly. These include:

• Session cookies: To keep you logged in during your visit.
• Preference cookies: To remember your language setting (English or Filipino).
• Analytics cookies: Vercel Analytics collects anonymised page view data to help us improve the site. No personally identifiable information is stored.
• Advertising cookies: Our advertising partner Monetag may set cookies or use device identifiers to serve relevant advertisements and measure ad performance. You can opt out of interest-based advertising via the NAI opt-out tool.

Doctor profiles on this platform are based on publicly available information from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) of the Philippines. PRC license numbers are stored securely and are not publicly displayed. If you are a licensed physician and wish to correct, update, or remove your profile, please contact us at contact@mydoktor.ph.

To file a complaint regarding data privacy, you may contact the National Privacy Commission at www.privacy.gov.ph.

9. Third-Party Services

MyDoktor.ph uses the following third-party services which have their own privacy policies:

9a. Third-Party Advertising

MyDoktor.ph is a free service supported by third-party advertising. We work with Monetag (monetag.com), an international advertising network, to display ads on this website. Monetag may:

• Use cookies, web beacons, or device identifiers to serve personalised ads.
• Collect anonymised data about your browsing behaviour across sites.
• Use this data to measure ad performance and deliver relevant advertisements.

MyDoktor.ph does not share your name, email address, or any personal account data with Monetag. Ad targeting is based solely on anonymised browsing signals.

To opt out of interest-based advertising, visit the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page or the Your Online Choices tool (EU/global). You may also disable cookies in your browser settings.
